The Humphreys family – Mom (Carla), Dad (Don), and four kids – spends lots of time in the kitchen preparing meals. They encountered the same issues and limitations we are used to dealing with when using traditional cutting boards… messy leaking liquids, food spillage, time-consuming clean-up afterwards, worrying whether there are germs left over from the previous food prep.

Don, always seeking to improve and perfect things, set about making something that would solve these problems. In fact, he asked for help with the design in his prayers, and his prayers were answered. It was a family effort, testing different designs as to ease of use and effectiveness.
